Lincat win Excellence Award for innovative FilterFlow water boiler
Lincoln business Lincat Ltd, one of world’s leading manufacturers of commercial catering equipment, has received a Caterer and Hotelkeeper ‘Excellence Award’ for its innovative FilterFlow automatic-fill water boiler, with unique built-in filtration. The award was presented to Nick McDonald, Lincat’s Marketing Director, at a prestigious awards ceremony in London, organised by the catering industry’s leading magazine, Caterer and Hotelkeeper, to celebrate ‘innovation and excellence’ in the hospitality industry.

“Combining pioneering technology with value for money, FilterFlow’s unique built-in filtration unit ensures premium water quality every time, resulting in great tasting tea! At the same time the filtration system prevents damaging scale build up which can seriously compromise performance of over time. With a conventional boiler it is necessary to plumb a separate filter upstream of the unit. However this can be unattractive and it certainly adds to the cost. So by eliminating the need for a separate filtration unit, our new ‘FilterFlow’ system is also convenient, reliable and cost effective.”
